Ideas
Tires- Your contact patch with the road should be a sticky as possible if you are changing
them out for performance
Goodyear Eagle F1
GS-D3's are an excellent choice
because they have a unique tread
pattern that is basically a slick
with groves cut out for the
water. They wear great stick hard
and have excellent wet grip too.
Toyo RA 1,
The Toyo® Proxes RA-1, a DOT-approved
competition tire designed specifically for
improved touring racing and autocross,
features all the high-tech components to
provide you with an uncommon competitive
advantage. It's a proven winner.
Falken Azenis 615-R's
These are my top choice. Why?
Because they wear well, stick very
hard and look good. Also noticed
almost everyone at the dyno day
had them and that should say
something!!!
Suspension- Now you have a sticky contact patch and want to make it work for you. Then get a more
sporty alignment and adjust your pitch and roll with shocks, springs , & swaybars
Counter
KYB AGX Adujstable Shocks
will control the dampening of you car.
If you install lowering springs you need
to control the higher rebound caused
by the increased stiffness of the
springs. Or if you want a more
dampened stock setup
Performance Suspension Springs
by Racing beat have been tested to give you a
netural handling miata with 30% stiffer rate in
the front and 20% stiffer rate in the rear these
springs will lower you car and keep it off the
bumpstops! In addition the weight tranfer
while cornering will be faster allowing you to
change directions quicker.
Magic JIC FLT-A2 coilovers
are 15-way adustment for
damping. Pillowball upper
mounts with spherical
bearings for precise
damping. The superior
monotube design gives
better control and lighter
weight than twin-tube
designs and with no
chance of the shock oil
foaming. Separately
adjustable for ride height
and preload, giving full
suspension travel
regardless of ride height.
9kg (504 lb) front and 8 kg
(448 lb) rear spring rate
Flyin Miata Front and Rear Sway Bars
make you miata responsive to the
max. Aside from being a little heavier
these sway bars will help you control
the body roll and weight transfer of
your miata. Plus their finish is great
and thier adjustable front and rear an
excellent bonus!
Sway Bar End Links will allow you to
eliminate or adjust the preload of the
sway bar allowing you to take further
control of your suspension. Red in
color yet again!!
Brakes- Now you have a well controlled car that sticks to the ground like nobody's business, time to stop
