Non-Floating Aluminum Tophats with Spherical Bearings Included!
Forget about disassembling your stock suspension to scavenge the heavy stamped steel top hats, and low-performing rubber mounts. We have created a fully drop in solution... simply remove your old shocks, and install your "ClubSport" Ohlins with top hats straight away. If you're having these installed, your shop/installer will thank you (and should charge you less as well). Spherical bearing upper mounts are especially needed with the internal Ohlins Dual Flow Valve (DFV) as the speed of the shock is used by the piston to allow for the DFV to operate properly. Put a rubber upper mount in-line with the piston and you end up with a ponderous and delayed reaction to each bump you hit. Our top hats allow the Ohlins DFV's to reduce hysteresis and ensure consistent, predictable damper performance in all conditions.

Derived from Öhlins Racing heritage, the DFV is uniquely able to provide the damping support needed to snake through a slalom at an autocross yet being silky smooth while attacking the apex curbs at the track. For customers in the San Francisco Bay area, we offer suspension installation, alignments and corner balancing out of our Fremont California service center. Please contact us for pricing and scheduling.
